在七月一個夏日的午後，與旅居海外多年的台裔精品飯店設計師Judy Wei 約在台北巷弄裡的咖啡廳; 上次見面是11年前。
Judy更不一樣了，散發出不凡的氣息。給了我他的名片， 燙金的法文 ”Savoir" 伴隨著午後的光線在我的眼匡閃耀著。
這女人開了一間屬於自己的 Design Studio 了，我表示驚訝，但心裡卻不意外; 一直以來, Judy 就是一直往前走的新女性。
“其實我們不單單只專注在華麗高級的大廳以及奢華的餐廳，我們更在意每一個設計細節能夠降低對環境的影響到最低。” Judy眼神堅定地說道，我也點頭表示認同，同時也感到她在這個領域的使命感。
的確如此，隨著觀光與休閒產業的蓬勃發展，奢華飯店與度假村在提供高品質服務的同時，也須負起保護環境的責任。設置油脂截留器與污水處理系統，不僅是符合法規的必要措施，更是企業永續經營、品牌形象升級的重要關鍵。
“許多飯店與度假村，為了營造沈浸在自然的氛圍中，會委託我們設計『奢華自然飯店』"Luxury Nature Hotel" 或 "Luxury Eco-Hotel"。（前者強調奢華和自然環境的結合，後者則更強調生態環保的理念。）” Judy 進一步說明：“在全球旅遊轉型與環保意識抬頭的背景下，「奢華自然飯店」正迅速成為高端旅客的新寵。這類飯店融合高端設施與永續設計，強調與自然共生、在地文化體驗、私密性與個人化服務，滿足追求內在豐盈與生活品質的旅客需求。”

隱密性高、遠離城市、貼近自然
採用永續建材與低碳設施（太陽能、水資源回收等）
